Running latest version of Office for Mac 2016 as of this writing, on MacOS Sierra. I've installed a Volume Licensed version of Office, but am lacking features of o365 and would like to remove the VL to log into o365. I've uninstalled all Office, Skype for Business, and even OneDrive, but every time I reinstall, even from personal o365 download, it only sees the VL and never asks to log in/activate (you can see in the Outlook/Word/Excel > About page that it's VL). Any ideas how to remove the VL? I don't have the com.microsoft.licensingV2.plist file anywhere so I'm. It sure where it's held.
Before you go mucking around your system, there are two things that you ought to try first: • Launch Disk Utility and run Disk First Aid. There is [un]surprisingly little or no useful information I could find on uninstalling individual components when you install the full Office365 suite on your Mac.
All I want is Word and Excel, and want to get rid of the rest. Shall I just send the apps to the Bin? Thanks

Just trash the apps you no longer want.
Office 2011 no longer uses a dedicated uninstaller. See this Microsoft support document for more information.
