Snipping Tool is a useful feature that allows users to capture the screen and crop it. It is not new for Windows users but in Windows 10, snipping tool does not appear in searching result. Searching box in Start Menu cannot help you to find and run Snipping Tool, even when you restart your computer again and again. It’s even more surprising when Snipping Tool also disappear in “Accessories” (All apps > Windows Accessories) of Start Menu. I choose what type of snip I want, but then my whole screen is going grey (rectangular snip) or black (window snip). Method 1: Rebuild the search index.
It is not so difficult to rebuild the search index, but Windows 10 may take hours to complete the Rebuild process, but in fact it often takes only some minutes to finish in almost cases, depending on several different factors.

Method 2: Run Snipping Tool from the System32 folder
Open File Explorer and navigate to C> Windows> System32 (with “C” is the installed drive Windows 10). Locate the file “SnippingTool.exe” and double click on it to launch.
