Now Mac OS X, Linux or Ubuntu users does not have to worry as you can use Mobile ODIN Pro to flash firmware. All you have to do is download the stock firmware, copy to SD card and flash it on your device using the app. Odin Flash tool is not directly available for Linux and Mac platforms. Instead, we have to use a tool called ‘ Heimdall ’. Heimdall is a cross-platform open-source tool suite used to flash firmware or ROMs on Samsung mobile devices.
Odin Flash Tool is developed for the sole purpose to flash stock firmware on Samsung devices. But nowadays there are many uses of Odin. We can flash TWRP Custom Recovery and various other mods through Odin Flash Tool. Earlier, we have shared all the version of Odin for Windows PC. Today, we are going to share Samsung Odin for Mac and Samsung Odin for Linux platforms.
